Now let’s take a look at the super cute folio Katie made in her demo. Into those pockets she tucked all kinds of goodies, including stickers she matted on cardstock and trimmed, a map, and a small flashcard. You can use it as is and decorate each side of the accordion, or you can do what Katie did: She adhered some of the panels together to create pockets. The center pocket is a little deeper and accomodates an accordion album which is included with the folio. Will Katie’s boys do the writing? We’ll have to find out! □ I love that the tags have plenty of space for journaling. Katie showed us how she made tags to add to the pockets and tucks. She trained them so well that they took lots of pictures of the fun day! Katie is using this folio to document a road trip her boys took with their grandpa. She rounded the corners on the “Let’s Travel” piece to make it look like a little book, then tucked the back cover of it into a flap. It even has a pull-out accordion album inside it! Katie covered each of the surfaces with paper from the fabulous Road Trip collection by Carta Bella then added all the little details that make her albums so special - tags, tucks, and much more. The great thing (well, one of the MANY great things!) about this project is that the folio comes already assembled and ready for decorating. First let’s take a look at the travel folio!
